Tall Thistle

Stem and Leaves
The plant exhibits tall, erect stems that can reach 3-10 feet in height! The stem is usually sparsely branched and covered in spiny, winged ridges. The leaves are deeply lobed, with sharp spines along the margins.
Flowers
Large, nodding flowers heads at the ends of its stems. The individual flowers are tubular and pink in colour, surrounded by spiny bracts. Bumblebees will often sleep just below the flower overnight.
